Step 3 For users to access SA-100, ports 80 and 443 need to be enabled from the WAN
to the DMZ.
Step 4 Ensure SA-100 can communicate with the LAN (Ex: ping the SA-100)
Step 5 Using ShoreWare Director, verify that the SA-100 Server status is green.
Step 6 Run the set of best practices below.
3.6.2.3 Best Practice tests
1. Configure a user for ShoreTel Conferencing.
2. Create a test conference and verify that audio users can join from both the LAN and
WAN.
3. Verify users can join Web conference from both the LAN and WAN.
4. Once the SA-100 status is green on ShoreWare Director, go to any ShoreTel Phone
and press the “Conference” button. The call should be routed to the ShoreTel
Conferencing, and you should be able to hear the conferencing prompts.
